New Buyer Setup Instructions

This process to create a new buyer and configure the routing distribution should remain fairly consistent for most buyers. Exceptions should be handled manually.

Create a New Partner

Enter contact infromation and remember to write down the password you created. You will need this password to send to the new buyer in their portal invite.

Navigate here: https://app.inquirly.com/signup

Contact info –> {ENTER VALUES FROM AGREEMENT}

Promotion Code –> {LEAVE BLANK}

Login –> {PARTNER_EMAIL} note: enter the email in all lowercase

Password –> {UNIQUE COMBINATION OF LETTERS, NUMBERS, SPECIAL CHARACTERS} note: write this password down to send in the invite email

Create the Routing Filters

This is how to configure the buyer to accept the specific type of lead or call that they agreed to purchase in their agreement. The Boberdoo Filterset area has many settings – please accept all defaults except the specific settings mentioned here:

LEAD Filtersets

Partner –> Lead filter sets –> in top section click “select template” and choose “Leads Water template” –> click the “+” symbol next to the template name. This will open the filter set editor, where you will enter these settings:

Name –> Leads Water

Lead price –> {RATE}

Deliver to email/phone with email address –> {ALERT_EMAIL_DISTRIBUTION}

Deliver to email/phone with SMS phone number –> {ALERT_SMS_DISTRIBUTION} note: enter as 10-digit number without a leading “1” in front

Filter set editor –> Zip –> ensure option selector = “Include” –> enter geography

Filter set editor –> Save

This set of steps above should create a filterset. It will show you the preview of the filterset, verify that the price, zip count, other settings make sense

CALL Filtersets

Partner –> Lead filter sets –> in top section click “select template” and choose “Calls Water template” –> click the “+” symbol next to the template name. This will open the filter set editor, where you will enter these settings:

Filter Set Name –> Calls Water

Lead price –> {RATE}

Partner Ring To –> {PHONE_TRANSFER_NUMBER} note: enter as 10-digit number without a leading “1” in front

Deliver to email/phone with email address –> {ALERT_EMAIL_DISTRIBUTION}

Deliver to email/phone with SMS phone number –> {ALERT_SMS_DISTRIBUTION} note: enter as 10-digit number without a leading “1” in front

Filter set editor –> Zip –> ensure option selector = “Include” –> enter geography

Filter set editor –> Save

NOTE About Setting up Many Filtersets

Larger, more complex accounts may have many filtersets with many conditions. For a simple setup with just two categories and the associated price

Cloning a filterset and all Settings

Sometimes it’s faster/simpler to clone a filterset, opposed to creating a new one from scratch. If you have an existing filterset already configured to a buyer then you may follow these steps:

Select the filterset you just saved, select the gear icon –> Copy filter set –> adjust the settings on the cloned filterset

Edit the filter set name, price, Task selection

NOTE: Boberdoo creates cloned filtersets in the Paused state, remember to toggle to Active.

NOTE about Task selectors:

Mold (Calls & Leads both) – Choose “Mold Removal” only, unless directed otherwise to also select “Mold Testing”

Water Leads – Choose BOTH “Water Damage” and “Water Removal”

Water Calls – Choose Water Removal

Configure the Billing Settings

Unless specified differently, our standard billing process is to setup automatic billing from the beginning, by

PARTNERS –> SELECT PARTNER –> INVOICING/BILLING

INVOICING/BILLING TOP SECTION

Value For Notification Email/Rebill Amount –> Set to max product price, normally cost of water calls. For example if water call is $400 then set this to $400

Remaining Credit Trigger –> Set to max product price minus $1. For example if the most expensive category is $400 then set this value to $399

Value For Notification Email/Rebill Amount –> Set to “Auto” to enable automatic billing

Click “Update Billing Info” at bottom to save all of these settings.

INVOICING/BILLING BOTTOM SECTION “Authorize.NET Payment Profile”

Edit partner –> Invoicing/Billing –> “Profile Description” field –> enter “Inquirly Inc” Scroll down and click “Save” to commit this

Save the Agreement in Dropbox

We need to save a copy of the signed and countersigned PDF agreement and any important attachments they sent us including geo zip lists and logo files.

Confirm you can Access System using Portal Logins

This is an important step to verify that the logins actually work – nothing is more unprofessional than sending non-functional logins! Login to buyer portal using the new logins you just created:

And once you are logged in, click around the portal to confirm that the buyer will be able to perform basic operations in their new portal.

a) confirm that you can toggle the portal Active/Paused settings at the top

b) confirm that you can navigate to the buyer billing area and see the “Add Credit Card” button

Send a Test Email to the Buyer’s Email Distribution

We send a test email to the buyer’s email distribution, and ask them to confirm they received the email. This is important because occasionally our email deliveries will get blocked by spam filters, and it’s better to debug this before going live. Send a test lead by these steps:

Settings –> Custom Deliveries Wizard –> Search for the delivery “Email HTML Inquirly” –> click “EDIT”

Enter the buyer’s email distribution in comma separated format in to the box “Test Email” –> click “Continue” and then Save

On the Custom Deliveries Wizard page, on the line for this delivery, click the red icon “Send Test Lead in Test Mode”

Email the Buyer with their Portal Logins

SUBJECT: Inquirly new portal access – {ADVERTISER_NAME}

SUBJECT EXAMPLE: Inquirly new portal access – 1800 Water Damage of Chicago

BODY: Use template provided; Replace XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX with appropriate information

Optional Special Setting – Masked Caller ID for Calls to Show from Inquirly Phone Number

Some buyers prefer that all call transfers from us appear from our phone number, opposed to the user’s actual Caller ID. This setting is made in the Calls Filtersets:

Partner –> Lead filter sets –> Edit the Calls filter set(s) –> Use Caller ID (10 digits only): 5127641752

Optional Special Setting – Monthly Transaction Report

Some buyers like receive an automated monthly transaction report emailed to their accounting email. This report is configured in this area of the admin portal:

Partner –> Invoicing/Billing –> Select “Invoice Manager” in top navigation

INVOICE RECPIPIENT: {advertiser accounting email}

EMAIL SUBJECT: Inquirly monthly transaction report

AUTOMATED INVOICING: Enabled

INVOICING PERIOD: Monthly

INCLUDE CREDITS/PAYMENTS: Checked

INCLUDE REFUNDS: Checked

Click “Update Invoice Info” at the bottom to save these settings
